Justin Bieber Goes Acoustic & Apologizes for Smoking Pot on 'SNL'
While Justin Bieber's fellow artists were gearing up for the Grammys ceremony in Los Angeles, the pop star pulled double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live in New York City--and he ultimately had the last laugh.
The "Boyfriend" singer impressed with his comedy chops, even poking fun at all things Bieber-related, like looking like a lesbian and his white homeboy swagger. He even addressed those photos of him smoking pot in a hilarious sketch called "The Miley Cyrus Show."
Bieber played Pete Defalco, the nerdy and star-struck president of Cyrus' fan club. "[You're] much better than that douche Justin Bieber," Cyrus said. "I also heard he got busted for smoking weed and that he's really sorry about it and that people make mistakes and that he's never going to do it again."
Another highlight was a skit with actor Jason Sudeikis, who played the Biebs' security manager. He wanted to hire a bunch of Bieber look-alikes, but none met Bieber's standards. Bieber said that the wannabes didn't look like him, sing like him or move like him, except for one: Ellen DeGeneres.
Bieber also performed two stripped-down tracks from his upcoming album Believe Acoustic, including "As Long as You Love Me" and "Nothing Like Us."
