Mac Miller Responds to Donald Trump's Threats: "Let's Be Friends!"
A day after super-tanned real estate mogul Donald Trump threatened to sue Mac Miller for using his name in a song, the Pittsburgh rapper, who recently slagged Trump, is changing his tune and waving the white flag.
The war of words began when Miller called the entrepreneur a "dick" in a Complex mag interview: "I f-cking hate Donald Trump," Miller said. "When he started running for president I was like, 'Oh, fu-k—this is horrible, I have a f-cking song with this dude's name and now he's being such a douchebag."
Trump responded on Twitter, calling Miller an "ungrateful dog" who needs to learn his "lesson" for "illegally" using Trump's name in a 2011 song.
Miller responded Friday on Twitter: "I'm not trying to put any negative energy into the world.@realDonaldTrump let's be friends." Awwwww. Who's the bigger person now, hmmmmm Mr. Trump?
But will Trump rise from his bitter funk and accept Miller's offer? We doubt it, but we'll keep you posted. After all, Miller is pretty smooth about settling copyright woes outside of court, just ask Lord Finesse.
