Marilyn Manson Collapses Onstage in Canada
UPDATE: MarilynManson's publicist says the rocker "is recovering from the flu. The tour goes on as scheduled tomorrow in Calgary."
Marilyn Manson collapsed onstage during a concert in Saskatoon, Canada on Wednesday night, reports AntiQuiet.
According to tweets and fan-filmed YouTube video (watch below), the shock rocker was on his knees at the front of the stage, screaming his 1996 breakout single "Beautiful People," when he vomited onstage and then collapsed.
Confusion ensued in the crowd and with the band onstage, who continued to play the industrial metal track, as both were unsure if Manson's collapse was part of his oft-dramatic stage show. However, soon stage hands rushed onstage to carry Manson away. And according to tweets, EMTs were then seen attending to the rocker on the side of the stage.
