The Killers Perform New Order Cover With Bernard Sumner

The Las Vegas rock band play "Crystal" in the Brit group's hometown of Manchester

The Killers performed with one of their biggest musical heroes, New Order’s Bernard Sumner, last week in the British group's hometown of England.

"I don’t know if you know this or not, but we took our name from a New Order video," Brandon Flowers told the crowd. "I think they’re from here," he added, jokingly.

Flowers brought out Sumner, introducing him as "the illustrious and praise-worthy Sheriff of Manchester," and then they soared into "Crystal," from New Order's 2001 album Get Ready

Whatcha shootin' for, Gaga? Mother Monster uploaded a pic to her Instagram late last night of what looks like a video crew recording her in the studio. She tagged pictures from that night with "#CheekToCheek," the title for her Tony Bennett collaboration LP. Maybe we're getting a making-of documentary for the album too? Fingers crossed!
