Daft Punk's New Album Is Titled 'Random Access Memories'
After months of Internet hints and cryptic teases in late-night TV commercials, Daft Punk are subtle no more.
Random Access Memories is the title of Daft Punk's fourth studio album, which will be released on May 21. The album, their first for their new label Columbia Records, is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
Some of the collaborators on Random Access Memories include producer/Chic co-founder Nile Rodgers, Oscar-winning songwriter Paul Williams and famed disco producer Giorgio Moroder.
"About a year ago, I get a knock on the door – first a virtual one and then a real knock – from [Daft Punk's] Guy-Manuel and Thomas," Rodgers told Rolling Stone on Friday night. "The collaboration felt so unbelievably natural that it made me realize that I need to be in the studio with people."
