FUSE TV - Gucci Mane Wanted for Assault

Gucci Mane is a wanted man. 

According to WSB-TV, the Atlanta police have issued an arrest warrant for the rapper stemming from an alleged assault. The incident allegedly went down on March 15 in an Atlanta club where Gucci Mane was celebrating the release of his mixtape Trap Back 2.

A U.S. Army soldier (referred to as "James") asked a security guard in the VIP section of ATL's Harlem Nights club for a photo with Gucci when the rapper allegedly hit him over the head with a champagne bottle. Gucci's crew apparently also punched the soldier--who was out celebrating his birthday--in the face.

"And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face," says James, who was rushed to the hospital and received 10 stitches on his head. 

This isn't the first run-in with the law for Mane. The 33-year-old MC's rap sheet includes an arrest for battery, probation violation and reckless driving. He served a six-month jail sentence in 2011.

In less dire Gucci Mane news... The ice-cream-faced rapper, who stars alongside James Franco in Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers, was apparently so stoned during a sex scene that he fell asleep. Korine told Vulture the story...

"In his entourage, everybody smokes weed from the beginning of the day to the end," explained Korine. "So we’re inside this house in St. Petersburg, and the f-cking weed smoke was so insane and Gucci was basically catatonic. I was like, 'Gucci, you’ve got to have sex with this chick now!'" How did he receive the news? "He wanted her to ride him so he wouldn’t have to do any physical labor."

And Gucci was quite impressed with Franco's portrayal of a Southern rapper.

"I would collaborate with James Franco as a rapper any day," Gucci told Vulture. "It was cool how he could form into this character from the hood, who's so urban, so different from the people who he really is. You would think that James Franco is from the same community, but he's not. I think he did a hell of a job."
