There were about 20,000 upset teens in London last night after Justin Bieber, who was headlining the city's famed O2 arena, went on stage nearly an hour late.
According to E! News, opener/labelmate Carly Rae Jepsen finished her set around 9:10 pm, but Justin didn't show up until 10:15. "Everyone was kept waiting not knowing anything... They kept playing Michael Jackson songs. All the fans were getting so annoyed and at around 9:50 p.m., fans started booing," one fan said.
Bieber took to Twitter to explain his side of the story this morning. "Last night I was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 9:35 not 8:30 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10... so... I was 40 min late to stage. There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and I'm proud of that."
So, we have to ask: What's going on with Justin Bieber lately? First he's going shopping in a gas mask, then there's a confrontation at the club during his 19th birthday party. After coming back from his party shirtless in the middle of the night, now he's an hour late to his own show?
Hopefully the second concert at O2 goes better than the first. Justin's hoping so, too:
