MTV is revealing their full list of 2013's Top 10 Hottest MCs on March 7, but the list of the bottom five already dropped and, naturally, most of the rappers on it are upset. Kanye West (No. 7), A$AP Rocky (No. 8), Future (No. 9) and Danny Brown (not on the list at all—yet) are all sounding off about the roster.

Up first, we've got Kanye, who called into New York's Hot 97 to air his grievances with his placement. "Yeah, [being] No. 7 bothers me," Kanye said before listing off all the reasons he should have a higher slot. "I feel like in order for them to put me at No. 7, they had to bring up things they didn't like... They didn't like the Cruel Summer album... Cruel Summer got 'I Don't Like,' 'Mercy,' 'Cold,' 'New God Flow'... All on one [record]! And 'Clique'!"

"But they wanna diss me..." Yeezy continued. "Ain't nobody bringing up that [Rihanna] 'Diamonds' remix verse. There wasn't no verse in a year that was f-cking with that verse!" He has a point, that was a great remix. But... shrug it off, Kanye. Next time, dude.

No. 8, A$AP Rocky, "didn't like" his number either. "[I should have been] number one!" he told Power 106. "All of my videos are sh-tting on any hip hop videos out there, let's be honest."

"The reason why everybody's wearing gold again is because of your boy," A$AP informed us. "Everybody's wearing diamonds, I'm the one who made the John Lennon shades [cool again]... Come on, who brought gold teeth back?" Before the end of his rant, Pretty Flacko also mentioned a few of his musical skills (before thanking MTV, of course). At least A$AP would probably be No. 1 on Vogue's Hottest MCs list, right?

Atlanta MC Pill is coming to the defense of No. 9, Future, who he thinks should have nabbed a higher spot on the list as well. Speaking to MTV, Pill said, "I respect MTV, y'all been rockin' with me since day one. I just feel like Future, not even 'cause he's from Atlanta, but the man has been crushing everything, bruh. I feel like he deserves a better spot, that's all ..."

Meanwhile, Detroit rapper Danny Brown, who was left off the list entirely (at least so far), released a new song, subtly titled "#HottestMC." The XXX rapper pleads his case: "You a servant in my world / The rap gods curse you / When judgment day's upon you / Reality's a virtue." So... he wins?

Uhh, who's gonna be the first to tell these guys that they don't actually win anything for scoring the top spot? It's just a list, y'all—there's no trophy!
