From Run-DMC's beloved Adidas to Nelly's Air Force Ones, sneakers have always been an integral part of hip hop. Hell, we even have a web series, Sole Searching, devoted to the connection between rappers and sneakers. So when Fuse hit San Bernardino's Paid Dues Festival, we decided to chop it up with the festival-goers sporting some of the fest's best shoes. Click ahead and check out everything from Air Jordans to Adidas to a custom-designed pair of Modern Vice shoes that were sadly covered in the dust that seemed to cling to the entire festival.

Fear level of scuffing them up at Paid Dues: "They're red velvet. They're clean but it's the dust that covering them now. If I can't clean them at the end of the day, I'm going to be pissed."
