Behind the Scenes: Electro-Pop Singer Matthew Koma's "One Night" Video

It's a quirky, "spontaneous" love story at an amusement park: "People will get a kick out of it," the rising songwriter (and Carly Rae Jepsen's BF!) tells Fuse

Fuse caught up with rising electro-pop singer-songwriter Matthew Koma on location in Norwalk, CA, where he was shooting the music video for "One Night," the lead single from his debut album Arcadia.

Go behind the scenes of the video, which tells a quirky story of young love at an amusement parkā€”there are sparklers, a massive chewing gum bubble, Back to the Future references and Koma performing with his band in a talent show.

"When you're incorporating humor you're able to have somewhat of a spontaneous thing going on," says the 25 year old (who's dating Carly Rae Jepsen). "It never gets too dull. It's a fun song and it's a fun video. I think people will get a kick out of it."

The Long Island native also details his forthcoming record, European tour with Ellie Goulding and explains why "One Night" is a "really good first single" for him. Then watch the final "One Night" video below.

July 25: Gaga Goes 'Cheek to Cheek' in the Studio

Whatcha shootin' for, Gaga? Mother Monster uploaded a pic to her Instagram late last night of what looks like a video crew recording her in the studio. She tagged pictures from that night with "#CheekToCheek," the title for her Tony Bennett collaboration LP. Maybe we're getting a making-of documentary for the album too? Fingers crossed!
