It's probably not the most professional thing for an American Idol judge to be feuding with an ex-contestant of the show on Twitter, but Nicki Minaj once wore religious garb to the Grammys. Professional, schmofessional.
The rapper and Idol judge went on the defensive after one of the latest cast-offs, Devin Velez, said some not-so-kind things about Nicki during a conference call with reporters on Friday after he was eliminated. One of those not-so-kind things? "Whoa Miss Minaj, I need you to calm down please."
Uh, no. Nicki don't play like that. Minaj had no problem voicing her opinion about Velez's remarks, and his elimination, on Twitter.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Velez responded to the rant with a tweet of his own: "That moment when an adult stoops down to the 3rd grade level...LOL grow up Hun, I've got songs to write. :) #movingforward." He later deleted it.
