Sad news for OutKast fans: Sharon Benjamin-Hodo, mother of Andre 3000, died Tuesday in her Georgia home, according to Billboard.
Benjamin-Hodo founded and played a leading role in the Starlight Camp, a camp for disadvantaged children. Sources told Billboard that Benjamin-Hodo on Monday, the same day as Andre 3000's 38th birthday.
Andre 3000 was the only child of Benjamin-Hodo, a real estate agent and his father Lawrence Welker.
No cause or exact time of death has been established as of Wednesday morning.
