Big Boi on Chris Kelly, Collabs & OutKast in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

With headliners like the Black Keys, Alice in Chains and the Flaming Lips, Big Boi was one of the big names representing hip hop at the 2013 Beale St. Music Festival. Fuse sat down to chat with the rapper about everything from music's biggest headlines to his favorite OutKast music video. Check out the full interview above with highlights below.

On Chris Kelly's passing:
"He's one of the pioneers of Atlanta music. If it wasn't for Kris Kross and Arrested Development, how could you know about OutKast? My thoughts and prayers go out to his family."

Who he’s keen to work with this year:
"Definitely Kate Bush. I’m willing to work with anybody who got something to bring to the table. I’m definitely a big fan of Mumford & Sons, I love them. New album Babel is dope as hell. The soul and the spirit of the music. Every song is a hoedown."

On Public Enemy’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction:
"Public Enemy definitely deserve it; along with the Beastie Boys and Run-D.M.C., who are already in there. Everybody knows OutKast is up next—future hall of famers. But [Public Enemy members] Chuck D, Flava Flav, Professor Griff, the S1W, Terminator Xall really played a part in the artist I am today. Really, congratulations and blessings to them and their families right now."
