A Los Angeles radio stations reported Chris Brown said he and Rihanna had broken up in late March. The "Fine China" singer came on the Today show in early April to deny any split. But now, a month later, Chris Brown has indeed confirmed his relationship with Rihanna is over. (Well, at least for now...)
Brown revealed the split to an Australian radio show while chatting about his birthday (which was yesterday): "I'm 24, I'm going to be in Vegas. I want to see as many girls as possible!"
Wait. Isn't he dating one of the sexiest girls on the planet? Where's she at?
"Yeah, I'mma do it solo," he explained. "At the end of the day, shawty doing her own thing. She on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm just going to do me."
He continued, "I never want to disrespect anybody or put nobody down. I'm always gonna love that person, but people have different wants and needs. She's a young girl, I can't be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I'm young, too. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be."
The comment is a little strange since he just turned 24 and Rih is already 25, but hey, we'll let it slide since it sounds like he's actually sincere about losing a love.
