Mariah Carey isn't attaching herself to the sinking ship that is American Idol any longer. Her PR company PMK*BNC announced she is leaving the singing competition via Twitter.

After a season of drama between the judges and the lowest season finale ratings ever, the diva will shift her focus to an upcoming world tour. The PR company noted her new Miguel-assisted single "Beautiful" hit No. 1 in 30 countries, meaning the demand for Mimi is higher than ever!

Veteran Idol judge Randy Jackson confirmed his exit after 12 years while Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban haven't commented on their potential returns.
