Disclosure: "We're Very Different From Swedish House Mafia & AVICII"

U.K. electronic duo Disclosure have a bit of a problem with the U.S.'s catchall phrase for popular electronic music, EDM. We recently spoke to the Lawrence brothers about their debut album Settle (which dropped June 3), and what it's like becoming one of the biggest names in electronic music right now. Survey says: It's great... just don't lump them in with other big name EDM artists.

"We get called EDM, but so does Swedish House Mafia and Avicii. And they're not the same thing. At all," Guy Lawrence said. "I think we'd like to maybe distinguish ourselves as Disclosure... I hope people like the album and respect the musicality of it. Because we're trying to write songs as well as write club tracks. It's not just for the dance floor."

Disclosure also open up about their surprise hit tracks "Latch" and "White Noise" (which unexpectedly peaked at No. 11 and No. 2 on the U.K. singles chart, respectively) and working with the likes of Sam Smith and Eliza Doolittle.

Check out more in our interview with Disclosure above. Their debut album, Settle, is out now.
