NEW YORK, NY - DECEMBER 07: Nathan Sykes of The Wanted performs onstage during Z100's Jingle Ball 2012, presented by Aeropost

Tween girls all over the world can now dry those teary eyes! The youngest member of The Wanted, Nathan Sykes, hit the stage today (at the Summertime Ball Festival in London) for the first time since April.

The 20-year-old singer has been out of commission for months due to a hemorrhaging vocal cord. He simply tweeted "Gutted" after the band's rep announced that the singer would take an unforeseen hiatus from the Wanted in order to undergo an intensive vocal chord procedure on April 18th in L.A.

If you're a fan of the boys' E! reality show The Wanted Life you have seen a bit of Nathan's struggle play out on camera and it's pretty heartbreaking.

But the singer seems to be in a much happier place right now. After the performance he took to Twitter to give a shout out to his fans. He wrote:

"thanks for all the love today. Really put a smile on my face ..."

And Nathan isn't the only one who's pretty darn thrilled.

The Wanted's manager, Scooter Braun, tweeted "‪@NathanTheWanted I'm very proud of u. U worked hard and that was an amazing surprise and ridiculous solo!! Well done!"

Playboy and bandmate Max George also sent some cyber love, writing:

"#NathanIsBack love you mate! Welcome back."

Just last week the boys—minus Nathan—talked to Fuse about their bandmate. When asked about his condition and if it affected the new album, Tom Parker explained:

"You can tell at certain points in the album that he was struggling a little bit."

But funnyman Jay McGuiness was quick to point out that the cracking voice wasn't exactly a problem.

"He sounds like a rockstar," he exclaimed.

Well, we are pretty thrilled about this development and really happy for the super adorable Nathan. And now that he's back in the ring, maybe that The Wanted vs. One Direction fight can actually happen?!! What do you say Max?!
