Listen: Future Drops First Track From New Album, 'Honest'
Atlanta rapper/singer Future, he who had you yelling "Same damn time!" until your girlfriend told you to shut up, announced the November 26 release of Honest, the follow-up to last year's debut album Pluto, and just released the first single and title track. Listen below.
"Honest is the new me," Future said in a statement. "It represents the truth I try to bring to my music. I plan to break the mold with this album so that it will be nothing like you've heard from me or any other artist out. You can either tell the truth or face the Future."
Originally titled Future Hendrix, Honest's lead single will also be titled "Honest," (theme!), where he'll debut the track tonight at 12:01 am on his uStream page.
Honest will be released one day after Future, Drake and Miguel finish their “Would You Like A Tour” tour, kicking off Sept. 25 in Portland, Oregon.
