Kanye West to Perform at MTV Video Music Awards
Having always leaned toward subtle, unassuming award show appearances, MTV's announcement that Kanye West will perform at this year's Video Music Awards August 25, where the rapper will presumably sit quietly in his seat until his pre-arranged set time and leave promptly after, shouldn't be that big a deal. But there is a chance, however so slight, that West may finally do something newsworthy and eventful this time around.
The rapper with the (self-proclaimed) Greatest Verse in the History of Ever will perform "Black Skinhead" at the awards show, his seventh performance at the show, tying Madonna for most performances.
West's Yeezus won't be eligible for a VMA until next year's show, though we look forward to seeing his eventual outburst on stage. Perhaps we could bring Bruno back.
