California Highway Patrol arrested Miguel for DUI early Wednesday morning in Los Angeles, the LAPD confirmed to Fuse.
The R&B singer was stopped for speeding and tinted windows at 2:15 a.m., with police subsequently smelling alcohol in the car, a LAPD public information officer told Fuse. The R&B singer failed several sobriety tests and blowing over the legal limit on his breathalyzer test and was arrested, booked and shortly released on $5,000 bail. Two passengers in Miguel's car were not arrested.
The Los Angeles District Attorney will now decide whether to pursue charges against the "Adorn" hitmaker and head-crusher, though Miguel is expected to appear in court in September.
