Listen: Krewella Remixes Fall Out Boy's New Single "Alone Together"
Chicago trio Krewella is all about city pride in their latest remix: An EDM-ified rework of "Alone Together," the latest single by fellow Windy City band Fall Out Boy.
The electronic act replace the pop-punk rockers' guitars and drums with flute-y synths, sputtering drum machines and pack in two bass drops that would make Skrillex proud. Krewella singers, sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, recorded verses to splice in alongside FOB singer Patrick Stump's vocals. This mix is so good, we're wondering when a proper collabo can happen between the Chicagoans? (Soon, hopefully)
Listen to the track above and snag it for your iTunes as Krewella is offering it as a free download.
Fun facts: The electronic trio formed while attending Glenbrook North high school in Chicago suburb Northbrook. Stump attended rival high school Glenbrook South in neighboring town Glenview, as did this writer.
