Kanye West knows how to keep a secret. After recently announcing his unexpected Yeezus tour with Kendrick Lamar, Yeezy stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for a rare TV performance. He also brought along his friend, legendary singer-songwriter Charlie Wilson.
Kanye performed the Yeezus track "Bound 2" for the first time on national television, and he used the occasion to give a shout out to rapper and former Kim Kardashian fling (read: sex tap partner) Ray J. By "shout out,"of course, I mean expertly crafted diss. The first line in the song? "Brandy little sister lame and he know it now." How long do we think he was waiting to use that one?
Despite a killer performance and Jimmy Fallon's zealous enthusiasm after the song, still no appreciative smile from Kanye. Maybe next time?
