Taylor Swift Immortalized in Guinness Book
The most recent news re: Taylor Swift has absolutely nothing to do with an ex boyfriend: she's nabbed a spot in the 2014 Guinness Book of World Records.
The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer has earned the distinction of "First Solo Female With Two Million-Selling Weeks on the U.S. Albums Chart."
Of course, she arrived here by writing massively successful songs about some very famous exes.
Even Guinness Books' site has an article accompanying her entry that reads: "WHO DID TAYLOR SWIFT WRITE ALL HER RECORD-BREAKING SONGS ABOUT?"
So, maybe we were dead wrong about the news not involving an ex-boyfriend.
And, fine! The fact that her most recent famous ex, Harry Styles, is also listed in the 2014 edition, kinda makes us double wrong.
Harry's band, One Direction, earned "Most Twitter Followers for a Pop Group."
Tay's alleged nemesis, Justin Bieber, also made the cut with two awards: "Youngest Solo Artist to Have Five U.S. #1 Albums" and "Youngest Musician with a Music Channel Viewed Three Billion Times."
Rihanna also nabbed a social media award with "Most 'Liked' Person on Facebook."
Congrats to the rich, famous and fabulous faces listed above. People like you, they really like you!
