Scantily-clad outfits, forward-thinking electro-pop and fierce-as-hell dance moves: These are Britney Spears' trademarks. Vocal prowess? Not so much. Particularly live in concert, as it's generally accepted that Britney is probably/maybe/definitely lip syncing. But in a new interview with Chicago's 103.5 KISS FM, Spears promised to sing live during her upcoming two-year Las Vegas residency. In fact, according to the pop princess, she never lip syncs!

"I'm definitely going to be singing live," the former X Factor judge told the Fred+Angi in the Morning show. "I always sing live."

"You always sing live?" Fred pressed. "Yeah, I'm always singing," Brit responded. "It doesn't sound so great all the time! But I do my best."

But if she always sings live, then how did a microphone two inches from Spears' mouth not pick up her frantic screams when a fan rushed the stage at a 2009 concert? C'mon now.

The "Work Bitch" star also added this horribly-depressing note when asked about the hardest part of her luxury life: "Getting up in the morning," the mother of two said. "It's so hard for me to get up in the morning. It's horrible."

#PrayForBritney, ya'll.
