False Alarm: Drake Did Not Kick Future Off His Tour
Drake's "Would You Like a Tour?" tour with Future and Miguel was almost derailed earlier this week, when alleged disparaging statements made by Future about Drake's Nothing Was the Same prompted Drake, according to NY Post's Page Six, to ask that Future be removed from the tour.
But according to a representative for both rappers, the tour will proceed as scheduled.
"I am set to continue as planned with Drake and Miguel on the 'Would You Like A Tour?' tour slated to begin on October 18th in Pittsburgh, PA.," Future said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to hitting the road this fall. Love4Life Honest"
As for allegations that Future initiated a $1.5 million lawsuit against Drake for lost wages, Future's rep said simply, "It was a rumor in Page Six."
Earlier this month, Future played his new album Honest for editors at Billboard, with one editor quoting Future on Twitter as saying, "Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do."
