Kate Nash Blends '60s Pop With Garage Rock in New Video "Fri-End"
British singer-songwriter Kate Nash may still be a cult figure in the U.S., but she's a certified star in her home country. Made of Bricks, her 2007 debut, charted at No. 1 in the UK and the wry, exuberant singer has been releasing subversive pop ever since.
"Fri-End," the third single from her third album Girl Talk released earlier this year, blends scuzzy garage blues-rock with 1960s bubblegum pop for a track that will cause both fist-pumping and diary-writing. Do not piss off Kate Nash or she will write about you. Check out the video above.
