Shock rocker Marilyn Manson is set to join the cast of ABC's fairytale-themed show, Once Upon a Time. No, this is not a Halloween prank.

Rolling Stone has confirmed the news: fans will be treated to some Manson action come November. He will be voicing the character, The Shadow.

In case you were wondering, the shadow is pretty dark, (Surprise!) and happens to be a fan of soul-stealing and kidnapping.

Viewers have already gotten a glimpse of the nefarious character a few times this season, but show creators and executive producers, Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, wanted to give the The Shadow an extra shot of creep. They explained to Rolling Stone:

"We've always been enormous fans of Marilyn Manson.

"We wanted to cast someone with the vocal ability to make our skin crawl."

Considering that we're talking about the man who made jaws drop when he simulated Paris Jackson's suicide attempt onstage in June, we're pretty sure he still has the whole making skin crawl thing down to an art form.

You can catch the King of Creepy later this season on Sundays at 8p.m. on ABC.
