Move over "Halo," Beyonce's got a new heavenly, transcendent ballad: "God Made You Beautiful.

Last month Queen Bey gave fans a taste of a snippet of the glorious new song via a trailer for the upcoming November 25th DVD release of her HBO documentary Life is But a Dream.

Thankfully, she graced us with the full version. And, boy, was it worth the wait. We would put money on "God Made You Beautiful" becoming the next big song on the charts. And in commercials. And at weddings. You get the idea.

The song is purportedly about Bey's little girl, Blue Ivy, and the lyrics will make you smile—and probably cry. Check these out:

"When you were born
The angels sighed in delight
They never thought they'd see such a beautiful sight

You took the breath
And the world was right again
Tears were shed
How we have been blessed
And your love, it shines so bright
You bring me back to life, back to life
You make everything right"

The world's been eagerly awaiting the next Beyonce album for some time. After the releases of "Bow Down," "Grown Woman" and "Standing in the Sun," a B LP seemed certain.

Alas, it has yet to materialize. Beyonce is known to be quite the perfectionist, so we will all just have to keep waiting patiently.

At least we have "God Made You Beautiful" to keep us smiling as we pass the time.
