American Justin Timberlake performs during the Rock in Rio music festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on September 16, 2013.

As GQ's Man of the Year, you'd think Justin Timberlake would have a lot to celebrate. But it seems like the mag caught him at a bad time.

Inside the December issue of GQ, the usually affable Timberlake is mad, and he's not going to take it anymore. It might have something to do with the fact that writer Amy Wallace caught him just after the opening weekend of his recent movie Runner Runner, costarring Ben Affleck, that opened at a dismal $8M.

While Justin didn't take the situation too seriously—"I don't see myself as someone who's ever going to be defined by one moment. It's on to the next"—he was still pretty pissed. Check out his five angriest quotes from the article.

On doing an interview after Runner Runner's lousy opening weekend: "I find it ironic that I'm doing an interview with you about Man of the Year when I feel—literally—like a bunch of people just took a sh-t on my face."

On critics: "[Runner Runner] didn't do well at the box office, so I should quit? Hold on a second. If I was somebody else, you wouldn't have said that. I have the No. 1 album this week [The 20/20 Experience Part 2], and I shouldn't have released it? Come on, man. You sound like a d-ckhead..."

On trade magazine reporters: "None of your opinions count. And by the way, none of you [can do what I do.]"

On growing up in Memphis and trying to stay nice in show business: "I'm from this town, and I grew up with a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, so sometimes I find it funny that I've been able to acquire the patience it takes to be kind to people in our business. Because sometimes I just want to f-cking kill everybody."

On getting what you want: "Listen, I'm not cool. Being cool is about keeping your blood pressure steady. So no. Don't be cool. Be passionate. Be dedicated. Be tenacious. Be uncompromising. Be pissed. Be happy. Be sad."
