Accepting her award for Best Video at MTV's Europe Music Awards show Sunday night in Amsterdam, Miley Cyrus, sensing it's been more than 24 hours since we last wrote about her, shocked (SHOCKED!) the world by doing something fairly benign and commonplace among U.S. tourists to the city: Lighting a joint.
"I couldn't fit this award in my bag, but I did find this," Cyrus said, pulling out what appeared to be a joint and lighting up onstage.
While Cyrus won the award for "Wrecking Ball," the rebellious rebel just bein' a rebel y'all opened the show with the midget-enhanced "We Can't Stop." Associated Press, could you describe the performance, possibly in the least sexiest way possible?
"Cyrus opened the space-themed show singing the song "We Can't Stop," while wearing a silver spandex suit and gyrating her buttocks in the move known as twerking in the general direction of her smaller female dance partner."
There we go.
Other winners include Bruno Mars (Best Song for "Locked Out of Heaven,") One Direction (Best Pop), Justin Bieber (Best Male), Katy Perry (Best Female) and Eminem, who won for Best Hip Hop and Global Icon. MTV's got the full list of winners for you European Award completists.
