The National Debut Super-Dark "Lean" for 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire'
After being told their contribution to the upcoming blockbuster Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack was "too dark" for a movie about a few dozen people fighting to the death, the National have unveiled their revamped Hunger Games song. And by "revamped" we mean they took the same song, changed the name from "Dying Is Easy" to "Lean" and called it a day.
"Lean" is a dark, harrowing track that should perfectly match the prevailing sense of impending death in the second part of this trilogy. Listen to it above and check out Coldplay's contribution to the Hunger Games, "Atlas," below.
