FUSE TV - Britney Spears Doles Out Relationship Advice

Britney Spears recently put on her relationship expert hat while taking over Ryan Seacrest's spot as guest host of radio's American Top 40.

And the "I Wanna Go" singer wants you to know how to get over a man.

According to E! Online, when Brit was asked by a listener for advice for dealing with the aftermath of a breakup, she quickly responded with this:

"Just get another guy really quick! I think if you get another boyfriend it's really easy to get over it."

This immediate response makes sense. Brit recently did just that when she jumped from then fiancé, Jason Trawick, to new beau, David Lucado, and it seemed to work out just fine.

But she apparently felt the need for a more traditional follow-up.

"But for real," she said. "I think you need a lot of friends around you and you need to go to the movies and have dinner dates with your girlfriends. Yeah, I think that's important."

This recent relationship guru stint should come as no surprise as Britney Spears has been on an emotive and open kick as of late.

The pop princess has stated on multiple occasions that her recently released eighth studio album, Britney Jean, is her most personal to date.

In an open letter to fans published on her website this past October, she explained her current state of candidness and how it transferred into her music.

"I poured my heart and soul into this album and it's been an incredible journey," she wrote. "I've learned a lot about myself, and as I am finishing, I am reminded of the incredible foundation that has supported me for the last 15 years. "

She continued, "I have been through a lot in the past few years and it has really inspired me to dig deeper and write songs that I think everyone can relate to."

We're pretty big fans of the new Spears. We appreciate the fact that instead of using her millions for post-relationship therapy, she simply does what the rest of us do but would not ever actually admit.
