Justin Bieber Raps About Adderall on Sage the Gemini's "Gas Pedal" Remix
From his creatively mature Chance the Rapper collabo to his sexy "All That Matters" video, Justin Bieber is on a major "I'm a grown-up now" kick. And haters be damned, he's pulling off the transition from teen pop to legit R&B... mostly.
One thing Bieber can't pull off as easily as his shirt, however, is rapping. But that's never stopped the Canadian heartthrob from spitting a few rhymes and on the remix to Sage the Gemini's Top 40 hit "Gas Pedal," JB once again exercises his right to rap. He says things like "hella jealous" and references the frequently-abused prescription drug Adderall on his brief verse. Honestly, it's no better or worse than Miley Cyrus' rap on Mike Will Made It's "23," but it's still jarring and rather unconvincing to hear him playing the tough guy.
But the song itself is majorly addictive, with Cali rappers Sage the Gemini and Iamsu of The HBK Gang dropping some great verses and Bieber returning to croon the hook. Listen to it above.
