Metallica officially became the first band to perform on all seven continents after finishing their 10-song show in Antarctica Sunday in front of 120 South American contest winners.

The Coca-Cola Zero-sponsored event, called "Freeze 'Em All" by the band, was performed silent disco-style, with attendees all receiving headphones to conform with Antarctic protocol against loud, amplified noises.

The band posted a photo of themselves on Twitter from the icy continent, yet singer James Hetfield refused to yell, "And just ice for all!" even once.
