The New Year hasn't exactly gotten off to a splendid start for 50 Cent.
In the first week of 2014 the Queens rapper lost a bid to dismiss a lawsuit over a sex tape he allegedly leaked and a former member of his G-Unit label, Mazaradi Fox, was gunned down.
But on the bright-side, 50 has found a new bodyguard/pal in the form of UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE wrestler, Ken Shamrock.
As XXL is reporting, the "Candy Shop" rapper recently added Shamrock to his security detail and 50's new beefy sidekick made his bodyguard debut at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The 49-year-old muscleman took to Twitter to announce his new gig and gush about his boss:
@50cent - it's been a pleasure working with you and your team, you are by far one of the classiest gents I have ever worked with. God bless— KEN SHAMROCK (@ShamrockKen) January 9, 2014
In addition to protecting 50, Ken has another musician related job on his resume: he performed at the Gathering of the Juggalos in 2009.
