GRAMMY Nominee Hunter Hayes Didn't Prepare an Acceptance Speech

The GRAMMYs are familiar enough for 22-year-old country star Hunter Hayes at this point, but that doesn't mean he's not nervous.

After receiving three nominations last year—Best New Artist, Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album—Hayes scored his fourth GRAMMY nomination this year, again for Best Country Solo Performance. But it's his GRAMMY performance that's majorly freaking him out.

"In this case, [I'm much more nervous about] performing," Hunter told Fuse News' Jack Osbourne. "I don't think I have much to worry about as far as the acceptance speech goes. I'm up against some pretty awesome competition." That awesome competition includes Lee Brice, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker and Blake Shelton.

Check out more with Hunter Hayes in our interview above. And don't forget Jack will be live on the red carpet interviewing the nominees and performers with Fuse Red Carpet: Live @ GRAMMY®s. You can join him on Sunday, January 26, at 4PM ET by heading to Fuse.tv/Grammys where we'll be streaming the red carpet right up until the show!
