Despite the fact that Katy Perry is likely furiously rehearsing for her upcoming performance at this year's Grammys, she set aside some time to share the artwork for latest single "Dark Horse."

The black-haired beauty took to Twitter for the official cover art release for the synth-heavy Prism track featuring Memphis rapper Juicy J:

We're really digging this: Katy as some kind of Disney princess turned Queen turned Captain of the Golden-Dark Horse Brigade.

The colorful creation is by NYC artist Yao Xiao, who appeared to be quite tickled by Miss Katy's shout out.

She responded to the tweet with, "Thank you!! :3 have a great show in China."

Choosing a commissioned piece of art for the cover as opposed to the typical go-to-pop-princess-posing-naked-and-sultry pic is only the latest nod to visual art Katy has made as of late.

Earlier this week the Prism singer announced that she had joined Madonna's art/charity project, Art for Freedom.
