After stumping for President Obama in 2012, Katy Perry is ready to call in a favor. She just wants to know one little thing from the Commander in Chief: Are aliens real? Or in other words, "Is there a massive government conspiracy a la The X Files to cover up the existence of extraterrestrial life?"

Well, Perry already knows the answer to this question, but she wants the Pres to confirm it for her. "I believe in aliens," the "E.T." singer told GQ. "I look up into the stars and I imagine, 'How self-important are we to think that we are the only life-form?' I mean, if my relationship with Obama gets any better, I'm going to ask him that question. It just hasn’t been appropriate yet."

We totally agree, Katy. Asking the truth about Roswell is really more of a third-date question.

But it's not like he doesn't owe her. After all, political experts like Katy Perry report that Katy Perry won Wisconsin for Obama by campaigning for him in 2012 (even though he managed to nab the state without her help in 2008, too). "I might have won Wisconsin for him," Perry said to GQ before backtracking and switching gears into a humble-brag. "Actually, I didn’t do too much, but he called on me a couple of times. Which was very nice."
