The Fray's Isaac Slade Almost Proposed at a Ben Folds Show

While The Fray have performed multiple times at New York City's famous Radio City Music Hall, it's frontman Isaac Slade who almost took the stage on bended knee.

"We played Radio City opening for Ben Folds in 2005, and a couple days before the show, I asked him if I could propose to my girlfriend onstage," Slade explains. "Ben's like, 'You don't want to do that ... You're going to have a pretty public life with this band of yours. You're going to treasure the moments in private.'"

Slade ditched the onstage proposal and took his lady to the Empire State Building instead, which proved to be a much better idea.

The quartet also discusses its latest studio album Scars and Stories and reveals juicy details on the members' first kisses.
