Academy Award-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead this morning in New York City at the age of 46. The actor, who brought the world numerous unforgettable characters, including legendary rock critic Lester Bangs in the film Almost Famous, was found with drug paraphernalia and what appeared to be heroin.
Since the news began to spread, artists have taken to Twitter to express their sorrow.
