In an interview with Radio.comAsking Alexandria's Ben Bruce gets heated over the topic of '90s nostalgia, discussing how grunge—and mostly Nirvana—essentially killed "metal."

There are exceptions. "The only band that seemed to hang on for dear life was Guns 'N Roses," Bruce explained, citing their Use Your Illusions records as success stories.

"And Metallica [persisted] but they're a different breed. They're untouchable. They're sh*t now and they're still the biggest band in the world. I don't think anything is going to take their crown away."

What a sweet, backhanded compliment!
