After enlisting unknown songwriter/producer Boots to helm a majority of her surprise albumBeyonce repays the favor by featuring on his new song "Dreams."

Over a beat that recalls the trendy, alt-R&B sound Bey channeled on Beyonce—but with a few chopped-and-screwed samples thrown in—Boots croons his way through the melodic track before letting some John Legend-esque belts rip on the second verse.

Mrs. Carter creeps in on the third chorus to harmonize with Boots. She soon takes over the track, owning the bridge with a slew of impressive belts and high notes—some of which get distorted into wonky, trippy, reverberated eargasms. We likey.

If you're looking for more info on Boots, well, sorry to say there isn't much to report. The singer has chosen to stay rather mysterious, refusing to reveal much about his past in interviews other than that he signed a publishing deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation in June 2013.

One thing we do know: Beyonce really liked his stuff and he went on to land co-writing and co-producing credits on Beyonce tracks like...take a deeper breath..."Drunk in Love," "Partition," "Haunted," "Jealous," "Superpower," "Heaven," ***Flawless," "Blue," and more. Yeah, Beyonce digs this guy.

Boots has been revealing his debut mixtape, WinterSpringSummerFall, piecemeal on the Internet with two tracks every two weeks. "Dreams" was released today alongside "A Day in the Life of Jordan Asher," which is Boots' real name.
