UPDATE: Months after teasing the initial duet, Chris Brown and Ariana Grande's "Don't Be Gone Too Long" is here in full! The singers belt and harmonize over a throbbing, electro-dance beat in this melancholic duet.

The track was revealed in its official video that shows the two singers playing forbidden lovers in medieval times. Grande is a princess (of course), kept under control by an evil king, and Chris seems to be her commoner/peasant boyfriend. The medieval clips are juxtaposed with current-day dance clips of the singers. We love when Grande, donning a ballerina costume, hits the splits, walks on the tips of her toes and gets super close with Chris—at one point lifting her leg onto his shoulder. Who knew Ariana was so flexible?!

Watch the new video above and peep a one-take vid of Chris dancing, spinning and moon walking to the track's instrumental below.

Original Story (4/15): The duet between Chris Brown and Ariana Grande, "Don't Be Gone Too Long," has been a long time coming.

The delay is mostly due to Brown's recent series of legal issues. He violated probation early last month and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. Brown is scheduled for an April 23 hearing, where the details of his probation violation will be reviewed.

While the singer awaits trial, his team has released a three-minute teaser video for "Don't Be Gone Too Long." In the clip we see Brown's silhouette in the shadows, contorting his body to the music in experimental ways. We get to hear some of the vocals toward the end of the clip.

His next album, X, will hit stores May 5 featuring "Don't Be Gone Too Long."
