Chris Martin might be channeling some "consciously uncoupling"-induced bummer vibes, because the new song Coldplay dropped on BBC Radio 1 this morning is rife with a case of the #feelingz—and it's not too bad at all.

Unlike lead single "Magic," this song is more of what we've come to expect from Coldplay, with Martin's quiet tenor sailing over faint echoes and soft strumming in a manner that throws us back to the XY days. Still waters run deep, and the waves of "Oceans" recall that sentiment in an eerie, approachable way.

"Oceans" is off the forthcoming Ghost Stories, Coldplay's first record since 2011's Mylo Xyloto. Pick up Ghost Stories on May 19 and give "Oceans" a go above.
