Miley Cyrus called into On Air with Ryan Seacrest to clear the air about her week-long hospital stay.

"I’m doing good, much better, happy to be on the phone with you guys," Cyrus stated. "So basically I had gotten sick while I was on the road after taking some doctor-prescribed medication for the flu. On the sixth day, I just woke up. It was so scary. I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to.”

The pop star said she was most upset about postponing her Bangerz tour dates. "I was begging the doctors, ‘Let me out to go do the show!’ It was basically no way.”

The experience inspired her to get more involved with Ryan Seacrest's youth-centric nonprofit foundation, which provides entertainment and inspiration to hospitalized kids. "I’m actually so excited to get more involved and help more of the kids," Cyrus said. "It’s such an intense situation. I don’t know how these kids do this.”
