Rock legend Paul Simon and his wife, singer-songwriter Edie Brickell, were arrested at their home in New Canaan, Connecticut after a domestic dispute, according to Connecticut police.
According to the New Canaan Advertiser, Simon and Brickell were charged with "disorderly conduct" Saturday night at 8:20 after police responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute at their residence.
The two appeared in court together on Monday. "Both of us are fine together. We had a fight. It's atypical," Simon said while holding his wife's hand, according to Gothamist. "We’re going home together, and we’re going to watch our son play baseball."
Simon and Brickell, both renowned singer-songwriters, married in 1992. They have three children together.
