Maroon 5 are officially back (did they ever go away?).

The Grammy Award-winning pop band fronted by Voice judge Adam Levine return on September 2 with their fifth studio album, aptly titled V. Few details exist about their follow-up to 2012's Overexposed, but Billboard reports that they're working with producers Ryan Tedder, Benny Blanco, Max Martin, Shellback and Sam Martin. A new single is expected out this summer.

Over the last several years, Maroon 5 have become one of the most successful pop acts thanks to radio smashes such as "Moves Like Jagger," "Payphone," and most recently, "Love Somebody," which dominated 2013.

Whatever Levine and company have in store, expect it to dominate the airwaves this summer.
