Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan was having a great day yesterday after being named one of XXL's 2014 Freshman Class, but sadly, he ended up in the hospital. MTV News reports the rapper was filming his new video for "Walk Thru"—his latest single from I Promise I Will Never Stop Going In—when the Southern heat got the best of him.

Quan collapsed due to heat exhaustion, and things got a bit scary for a moment. “As the rapper came to, the episode spiraled into a brief seizure," a label rep told MTV. "L.A.-based rapper Problem along with concerned fans, all witnessed paramedics take Rich Homie Quan to the hospital. He is good and recovering.”

So far, Rich has been silent on Twitter and Facebook, but Problem tweeted, "Keep the little bro in your prayers" last night.
