Pharrell's always been big on hopping onstage and in the studio with friends, and it looks like famed director Spike Lee will be the next big name to become to collaborator with the huge hat aficionado.

Lee--who recently worked with Eminem on his touching video for "Headlights"--will direct Pharrell's upcoming show at the iconic Apollo Theater in Harlem. The perfect pairing comes courtesy of American Express' Unstaged series, with Pharrell and Lee offering up its fourteenth installment. As the performances following the release of GIRL have been chock full of famous faces (Gwen StefaniJay Z, Usher, Ed Sheeran, etc.), Lee joining the "Happy" fray can only lead to more greatness and epic moments on the stage of the Apollo later this week.
