Apparently Sheezus isn't Britain's female pop star numero uno just yet. Lily Allen was snubbed—perhaps unintentionally?—by a U.S. immigration agent in New York this morning.

The singer tweeted, "Can we just talk about US immigration in NY? When asked my profession I said 'musician' he said 'are you gonna be the next Ellie Goulding.'"

Given that Lily Allen's internationally-acclaimed debut album dropped four years before Goudling's debut, that's a big ouch.

It could have been worst, though: Goulding is one of the few female pop stars not subtly shaded on the title track of Allen's new record, "Sheezus." Let's see this one as justice for LordeKaty PerryRihanna and Lady Gaga?
